Club Facilities
Located 10 miles south of Pell City, the club owns nine acres of land on Logan Martin Lake. The property is on the west side of the lake some two miles above Logan Martin Dam. At this site, the lake is approximately one mile wide and affords excellent sailing conditions.
The club house is located atop a knoll that furnishes a panoramic view of the lake and sailing area.
Club house facilities include a large central area with a fireplace, men's and women's dressing rooms, hot showers, kitchen and a large deck looking over the lake.
Waterfront
facilities include paved launching ramps, and both fixed and floating
docks. A fenced parking area provides dry slips for members boats. Wet
slips are available for members who prefer leaving larger boats in the
water.
In addition to sailing, the Club provides facilities for swimming in Logan Martin Lake, picnicking, camping, and a play ground for children.

The club presently has 156 members, in the following categories:
- Regular Members own a boat of a class in which there are at least 2 other boats in the club. Regular members have voting rights.
- Spousal Members are married couples who meet the boat-owning requirements of a regular member. Each spousal membership has one vote.
- Student Members are full-time students who are younger than 25. Student members may not vote.
- Intermediate Members are younger than twenty-eight (28) years and who are not eligible for Student Membership. Intermediate members may not vote.
- Associate Members need not own a boat. There are a maximum of 50 non-voting members aloud in the club at one time, and associate membership may only be renewed 4 times. Associate members may not vote.
- Non-Resident Members are former regular or spousal members who have left the Birmingham area and wish to maintain contact with the club.
