BSC RACE RESULTS
PRO: John Gilliom       Eleven boats came out (eight sailed single handed) for the Marsh Hartley Single Hand Race.  Winds promised at 4-6 out of the East became a drifter to 3mph out of the Northwest on our lake.  With a long weather leg, there were lots of opportunities for strategy considerations and a number of lead changes.  After one race, the participants were ready to go into shore for some refreshments.  Richard May walked away with the honors in the single-handed category and will have his name added to the perpetual trophy (first Thistler to be so honored).  Sally Morriss took home honors in the open category sailing with her son.  Each participant received a blue glass sailboat holding a single candle in honor of Marsh.
