BSC RACE RESULTS
PRO: David Glasgow       Rick Scarborough writes:  The open fleet consisted of a mix of boats ranging from Snow Toad, Jack Roger's Santana23, to a couple of Lasers, with a Lightning and 4 Buccaneers, all bobbing in the boat wakes until the winds picked up early Saturday afternoon. The race committee was able to complete three races with several Buccaneers and Andrew Phillips in his Laser leading the way. Sunday morning saw more wind as occasional whitecaps dotted the course. Although some water was taken over the rail in several boats, there were no capsizes. The Buccaneers kicked up their heels in the fresh breeze and took both races, with Andrew's Laser and Jack's Santana also showing lots of speed.
Awards were presented to first place Andrew Phillips , second, local Buccaneer Rick Scarborough, and third, Buccaneer Michael Birnbaum, down from Vermont and using the Ironman for a warm-up to the Bucc North American Championships next week in South Carolina.
