I would like to thank all the boats that participated in the Snipe Southern Championship. Congratulations to Tom Henderson who took first in the Championship Fleet and Joe Sprigg who took first in the Cruiser Fleet. We had a great turn out this year, and I hope we can get more people to come next year.
I would like to thank all the members of the race committee and Fleet 828 who chipped in to make this a successful regatta. Thanks to Pauline, Laura (my more than able crew), Daphine, and the Bamburgs for helping with food prep, Joe, Ed and Bob for being the grill masters, and Laura and Mike for batting clean up. Also thanks to the anonymous few who set up tables and chairs for dinner. Special thanks go to Dylan Goodson http://www.oldoakenterprises.com/ who created our new Snipe Southern Championship Perpetual Trophy.
Thanks to race committee: PRO Harry Reich, with Richard May, Guy Marcum, Leslie Anderson, Ted Kennedy, Mike Schuster, Patrick Stevens, and Dylan Goodson for making this a great event. I hope I remembered all of your names, and if not I apologize.
